To start, there is the Central Florida Zoo which draws huge crowds all year round and has over four hundred animals there although it is was only granted this status in 1975. Even though it is privately owned, it is run by a charitable group with the intention of providing classes for children and protecting species that are only found in Florida and other world wide exotic animals.

Then there is the International Trolley and Train Museum where you can see toy trains from the 1920s; plus take a ride in a California Victorian-style half open/half closed trolley car.

If you have seen the Titanic-ship of Dreams film then you will enjoy the exhibition along International Drive that tells the story using large sets and depictions from the ship as a background. A quieter more relaxing time can be found within the grounds of Lake Eola Park where you can enjoy over forty three acres of wonderful parkland which includes a boating lake for the more energetic.

Paris Vacation

As the capital of France, Paris is a large city; also known as affectionately as the City of Lights. Unfortunately a Paris short stay can only ever be considered a taster; it is almost guaranteed that a second, longer stay will be required.

It is known for its wonderful buildings, style, excellent food and wine; these include the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, markets and a history only matched by a few other European cities. Visitors to Paris as well as its citizens can travel around Paris easily; the Metro underground system is easy to understand, efficient and reaches everywhere even the most enthusiastic tourist would want to visit.

It wouldn't be possible to visit this city without a trip to the top of the famous steel structure known as the Eiffel Tower; it's visible throughout most of the city but the views from the top of this huge steel structure are even more impressive. You can be assured of an even more beautiful sight if you visit in the evening when it is illuminated; guided tours add to the thrill as you get to peek into history on how it was constructed.

A walk along the Champs Elysees is essential when you visit Paris; if you want to see famous, designer label shops and the restaurants, this is the place. This avenue is well worth a visit to see how the wealthy live; top class hotels are found here, although if you want to stay at a more reasonably priced hotel, they are available outside of the city center.

A trip to would not be complete without a visit to the Louvre museum; with over 300,000 wonderful artistic works, you simply cannot see all of it in one day. If you are in Paris on a short stay you must plan your time well; the Mona Lisa is one such world famous work of art which should not be missed. Many well known artists spent years of their lives in Paris; these include Monet and Picasso who very fortunately left some of their work here for all to enjoy.

The Arc de Triomphe another famous landmark was built by Napoleon in 1806; engraved with the names of generals that commanded his troops, it has become a popular photo spot for tourists visiting Paris. It also features an observatory to take in surrounding views; it is located in Place Charles de Gaulle where twelve of the city's main avenues start, including Avenue de Champs Elysees.

Of course this article can only give a small sample places to visit; these are however, the most popular with regular tours arranged, many of which are either free or at a subsidized cost. A Paris short stay vacation will probably be best suited as just a taster of the city; the churches, cathedrals and other museums will just have to wait for another time.

Business Travel Tips

Many people believe that business travel is not as necessary for companies these days but that is not the case as more trips are taken than ever before; the Internet has ensured that even tiny companies can have a customer base that is truly global! The problem is that business travel is renowned for causing stress and fatigue. Whilst the following business travel tips cannot help reduce traveling, they can help with some useful information to make these trips more bearable.

One thing that will probably happen at some stage is your luggage will go missing which can be a real problem for anyone traveling but more so if you are on business. The easiest way to ensure this situation does not affect you is by placing important business documents in your hand luggage.

Although it means taking more on the plane it does mean that whatever might happen you will be prepared for your meeting. Of course when you are packing your main suitcase for the journey, it will be much simpler for you if you only include items that are essential and is an important business travel tip to remember.

To keep this simple just work out how many days you will be at your destination and pack accordingly, remembering to pack a few items of casual wear plus just enough pieces of footwear to last; this would be one pair for work and another pair for play. This will leave room for toiletries, any other extra business materials you'll need, and so on.

A little business travel tip that flight attendants use when they pack is to roll up their clothes, then place them into cylinders which compresses the clothing and reduces the number of creases. If you carry dark clothing with you it can help if anything is spilt on them as it is harder to see stains on dark clothes.

With all this done, it should be quite easy to just get off the plane and use a couple of freshen-up wipes (those in travel packs) that will make you feel and smell better before you meet your customer. Remember before you leave to charge up your cell phone and other electronic devices, look in to getting some form of mobile or wireless internet access package so that you can work on the move.

Using your traveling time to get essential work done will mean that in the evenings you can take some time out to explore the city you're staying in. These tips make sure that no matter what happens when you travel on business you will be able to continue with your plans and will not be left wondering what to do next.

If you are able to mix a little personal relaxation time with your work you should enjoy your business travel and you will probably be more productive so the business travel tips highlighted here will be more worth while.
